Our Sustainability Commitment
Grown with Purpose, Crafted with Care
From our organic farms in Sri Lanka to your cup, every step honors people and planet
At Miracle Tree, sustainability isn't just a buzzword—it's the foundation of everything we do. As a family-owned business, we're committed to bringing you the highest quality moringa products while protecting the environment and supporting the communities that make our work possible.
Our Impact
Every commitment below represents a promise kept—to you, to our farmers, and to the planet.
🌿 USDA Organic Certified
All our moringa teas and powders are certified organic by the USDA, meaning they're grown without synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or fertilizers. This certification is verified annually by independent auditors.
🧬 Non-GMO
All our products are Non-GMO. We believe in working with nature, not against it, using only natural, non-genetically modified ingredients.
🌾 Gluten-Free, Naturally
Our moringa leaves are naturally gluten-free, making them safe for those with celiac disease or gluten sensitivity.
♻️ Plastic-Free Tea Bags
Our paper and pyramid tea bags are made from plant-based, biodegradable materials—no plastic, no microplastics in your tea or the environment.
Our Sourcing Story: From Sri Lanka to Your Cup
Our moringa journey begins in the lush, biodiverse regions of Sri Lanka, where our single-origin farms are located near pristine rainforests. This isn't just about geography—it's about preserving ecosystems while cultivating the world's finest moringa.
🌱 Organic Farming Practices
Our farmers use traditional, organic methods passed down through generations. No synthetic pesticides. No chemical fertilizers. Just rich soil, clean water, and careful cultivation that works in harmony with nature.
☀️ Solar-Dried Processing
After harvest, our moringa leaves are carefully solar-dried—a natural process that preserves nutrients while minimizing our carbon footprint. No fossil fuels, no industrial processing, just the power of the sun.
🌍 Biodiversity Protection
Our farms are located near rainforests, and we're committed to protecting these vital ecosystems. By farming organically and supporting sustainable agriculture, we help preserve the biodiversity that makes Sri Lanka's environment so special.
⏱️ From Seed to Cup in 90 Days
Our moringa is harvested at peak freshness and reaches you within 90 days. This short supply chain ensures maximum nutrient retention and the freshest possible product.
Our Environmental Commitments
♻️ Plastic-Free Pyramid Tea Bags
Unlike conventional tea bags that contain plastic, our pyramid tea bags are made from plant-based, fully biodegradable materials. They break down naturally in compost, leaving no microplastics behind. Better for you, better for the planet.
🌱 Biodegradable Canisters
Our superfood powder canisters are designed to be biodegradable, reducing long-term environmental impact. We're constantly working to minimize packaging waste while protecting product freshness.
📦 Minimal Packaging Approach
We believe in packaging that protects without excess. Every element serves a purpose—preserving freshness, ensuring quality, and minimizing waste.
🔄 How to Recycle
Tea bags: Compost them! They'll break down naturally.
Powder canisters: Check your local recycling guidelines for biodegradable containers.
Outer packaging: Recycle with paper products.
Community Impact & Fair Wages
Sustainability isn't just environmental—it's about people too. We buy directly from independent Sri Lankan farmers through a "bought-leaf" model that returns up to 70% of the purchase value straight to the growers—a direct relationship we can stand behind, not a certification badge.
💚 Direct-Trade Community Investment
Because we buy directly from our farming partners instead of through a certification program, more of what you pay reaches the people who grow our moringa. That relationship helps fund community projects—from education to healthcare to infrastructure improvements—in the communities that make our work possible.
👨🌾 Supporting Local Communities
By sourcing from single-origin farms in Sri Lanka, we create stable, long-term relationships with farming communities. This means consistent income, investment in sustainable practices, and preservation of traditional farming knowledge.
🤝 Ethical Sourcing Promise
We know our farmers by name. We visit our farms. We ensure fair treatment and fair pay. This isn't just business—it's partnership built on mutual respect and shared values.
Our Transparency Promise
What you see is what you get—no hidden ingredients, no synthetic additives, no compromises.
Every product we sell is exactly what we say it is. Our certifications are verified annually by independent third-party auditors, including the USDA and EU organic certification bodies. We invite you to research these certifications and understand what they require—because we're proud to meet and exceed these standards.
